As a Disciple of Christ, you are not who you once were. You're different. You have changed. Before you were born-again, you were dead in trespasses and sin. Unable to be led by the Holy Spirit. But when you confessed your sin and Christ as Lord, something marvelous happened, you came out of spiritual death and entered the light of God's grace, mercy, love, the redemption of sin, and spiritual life. You are in God's creation. Scripture declares, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Have you ever heard someone refer to the universe as if the universe was God?
Masters help others meet their high calling. To those that want to achieve, there are two types of schools. Both will help you become a master. One is faster than the other. Both are ladders toward success. One is learning with a master. The other is learning through experience. Some call experience the school of hard knocks. Experience is a good teacher but it's a long class. Finding a mentor is much faster.
Some Christians are just too nice. They try to be everyone's friend. They compromise because they are weak. Jesus didn't raise a bunch of weak followers and, he didn't teach his disciples to be push overs. Jesus trained his followers to take a stand for truth.
