God has created you with the ability to see the not yet. The ability to see what is not yet requires imagination. Imagination is the power to see. You can see a chair for example in the spirit of your mind before the chair is visible in the physical realm. Said another way, when you look at a chair, you realize that the design of that chair had to be imagined in someone's mind first.
This brings us to an important question, “Where did the chair first exist?” The answer is clear, it existed first in the unseen world called imagination. So then, it's in the imagination that everything is first seen and first designed. Knowing this helps you become more creative, more inspired, and more excited about life. If you don't like your life change it. Start seeing yourself the way God sees you.
Seeing the not yet is a spiritual law, it's a kingdom of God mystery. The mystery is this, all things visible were created first by the invisible. The Bible confirms this truth stating, “Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Hebrews 11:3). This reveals that God saw his creation in the unseen before he spoke let there be light and there was light. Again, this is seeing the not yet.
Apostle Paul wrote that God taught Abraham the spiritual law of calling those things that be not as thou they were. He wrote, “I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). This goes right along with seeing in your imagination.
God created all things in the beginning with words. Apostle John penned this truth, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:1-3). This is a spiritual law of the kingdom of God. It reveals that all new beginnings in your life start with the word of God. Not just in reading something in the Bible but in the revelation of what you are reading. When you read the Bible the second, third, or fourth time, for example, you see something in it that you didn't see before, you see something in yourself that wasn't there before. This is the unlocking of the mysteries of the kingdom of God and the ability to see what is not yet (Matthew 13:11).
Let's look at this principle of seeing the not yet from another perspective. Christ taught that some could see and others could not see. He said some heard and saw manifestations of the kingdom of God but didn't understand what they were seeing and hearing. By not being able to see, there could be no creative ability or manifestation of the kingdom. The disciples asked Jesus why he taught some people in parables. Jesus answered, “I speak to them in parables because they seeing, see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand” (Matthew 13:13). Simply put, they could hear the stories, but not understand the spiritual truth of the parables. And because they were not able to see they could not bring forth the kingdom. With this group, it was impossible to see the not yet. That's not so with you. As a disciple of Christ, God created you with the ability to see the not yet. Your spirit was designed by God to create what you can see in your imagination. Look into your imagination. Begin seeing yourself happy, content, and doing what inspires you. Start calling those things that be not as though they are. Allow your imagination to see the not yet.
