The way of the world is the way of the wicked, rebellious, carnally minded, and self-absorbed. God says, “For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then, they that are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:6-8).

The Promised Land was just what God said it would be. It was prosperous beyond anything they could have imagined. There was only one problem. "And there we saw the giants."
There is an interesting principle in the Word of God. I call it the law of prophetic announcements and new beginnings. The law of beginnings states that everything new in your life starts with a word from God.
Jesus made it clear that words have power. Not just any words, but his words. He said, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" (John 6:63).
