Be prepared for what's to come. Brace yourself, Remnant, because a storm is on the way. Spiritual discernment is necessary when nations turn their back on God. Brace yourself, Remnant, because a storm is on the way. When a nation turns its back on the blessings of God, it gets the opposite. Scripture says, "I am the LORD, thy God, who has brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me" (Exodus 20:2-3). Gods (Elohimin), protectors, providers, and deliverers.
America has forgotten the Biblical lessons of life under the heavy taxation of Egyptian bondage. States have continued to remove all vestiges of Scripture throughout the land, especially the Ten Commandments. This is exactly what ISIS is doing by erasing any cultural history they don't agree with. I wonder how long it will take to erase the Word of God from the Liberty Bell.
To remove the Word of God from the land is to deny Christ before men. Jesus mentioned the results of such action. "Whosoever, therefore, shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father, which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father, which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32–33).
The United States is 31 trillion dollars in debt and climbing. No nation can live beyond its means without consequences. You can't, and neither can the mighty United States. At some point, the whole economic house of cards will come crashing down.
Thomas Jefferson wrote to Samuel Kercheval in 1816 regarding debt servitude.
"And to preserve their independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes; have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers."
Without question, American citizens are loaded down with perpetual debt, have exchanged personal liberty for the words of lying politicians, and need government permission to paint their homes, trim their trees, own the personal protection of a firearm (CCP), or erect a lemonade stand. And yes, they have no time to think and no means to hold their leaders accountable. Think Louis Lener of the IRS denying tax-exempt status to conservative groups, deleting emails, obstructing justice, impeding an investigation, and lying to the United States Senate. I’m sure you can think of many more examples of criminal behavior by government representatives. (Benghazi anyone?)
"At what point does this all blow up in our face?" you ask. No one knows for sure, certainly not me, but there is evidence that suggests anywhere from two to ten years at the current deficient spending rate. When the "free lunch" money runs out
