Experience the Power of Expectation

Experience the Power of ExpectationHave you ever experienced a miracle or an answered prayer and wondered how it happened? The power of expectation is an amazing spiritual law that unlocks the anointing of the Holy Spirit and allows us to experience the power of God in our lives. Through this, we can cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, and even lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Expectation is the belief that God will move in supernatural ways to bring about what is needed, and with this power, we can expect to experience the miraculous.

One of the most powerful laws of the Spirit has to do with expectation. Scripture reveals this when the begger at the Gate Beautiful was healed. "And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, "Look at us." And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have given you, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up; and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength (Acts 3:4–7).

In this passage, Peter and John are meeting a man who was lame from birth. Peter and John look directly at the man, and he is expecting something from them. Peter then tells him that he has nothing to offer him in terms of worldly possessions, but instead he offers him healing in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Peter then takes the man's right hand and lifts him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones receive strength, and he is healed. This story is an example of the power of Jesus Christ to heal and bring about miracles. Take note of the man's expectant demeanor.

This is a powerful spiritual law of the kingdom of God; expecting it unlocks the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Expectation is the act of looking forward to something with anticipation and hope. In the spiritual realm, expectation is the belief that God will move in supernatural ways to bring about what is needed.

When we come to God in prayer with the expectation that He will answer, we are activating the power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This anointing is the power of God that works through us to bring about miraculous works, healings, and miracles. As we come to God in expectation, He will move in ways that we cannot even imagine. It's worth noting that the power of God and the laws of the kingdom are always looking for expectation to unlock the anointing.

Christ said, "But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you" (Acts 1:8). And, "And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16:17-18)

The power of God is available to us through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This anointing brings about miraculous works, healings, and miracles when we come to God in prayer with an expectation of His answering. This is the power of expectation, which unlocks the anointing of the Holy Spirit and allows us to experience the power of God in our lives.

Through this, we can cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, and even lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. With this power, we can be assured that God will move in supernatural ways to bring about what is needed. As we come to God in expectation, He will move in ways that we cannot even imagine. "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor have they entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9).
