God and country are two terms often spoken of together. God is shaking everything that can be shaken because he is against the rebel leviathan state (Haggai 2:6-7). It is well known that the earth is waiting in earnest expectation for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Since the sons of God are called into the restoration of all things they must avoid the chains of deception that so easily distract them from advancing the Kingdom of God (Acts 3:21). The solution is looking unto Jesus as author and finisher of their faith. It is also the measuring of state propaganda against biblical truth.
Author George Orwell said it well in “1984” regarding the danger of Leviathan servitude.
“In a way, the worldview of the Party imposed itself most successfully on people incapable of understanding it. They could be made to accept the most flagrant violations of reality, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. By lack of understanding, they remained sane. They simply swallowed everything.”
So what is the solution for breaking the apathy and deception on our generation? The solution is true repentance from sin and a turning toward the lordship of Christ and faithful allegiance to His Kingdom. Jesus said you cannot serve two masters. The sons of God must come out of the Babylonian system. They must divest themselves of first loyalty to Leviathan. They cannot be unequally yoked with a Mammon system that has its roots in the murderous rebellion of Cain’s leviathan kingdom. The Kings need to arise. I described the kingship of the believer in my book “Kingdom Living.” Scripture says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” (1 John 2:15).
We are not talking about becoming monks and hiding out in caves. No, as sons of God you are called to invade, occupy, and influence the world for Christ. Again, “The earth is the Lords and the fullness therein.” The world does not belong to Leviathan. Christ said to His disciples, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). Scripture also declares Christ “spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them” (Colossians 2:15).
MODELING THE KINGDOM
The Holy Spirit spoke to me saying, “Only the sons of God walking in the Spirit can manifest the Kingdom of God.” (Meditate on Romans 8). The rebellious and defiant leviathan state is not a model of the Kingdom of God. Isaiah prophesied the anointing would “rebuild the waste cities that were trodden down by the Gentiles.” The day of rebuilding will come. Sadly, if the Babylonian system collapsed the people would recast the same chains and rebuild the same wooden stocks that enslave them to Leviathan today.
Leviathan has a strategy of captivity. It conquers by addicting its citizens to state hand-outs, deceitful promises, useless knowledge, debauched entertainments and multiplied distractions. Turn their hearts to love these things and they will fight to maintain their slavery even if it means to fight against the liberating of Christ. This is what makes apostolic restoration essential. The apostles were mandated to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and heal the sick. Preaching like that produces conflict. It opens the eyes of the blind. It sets the captives free. It breaks the deception of leviathan’s prophets that call good evil and evil good.
Christ’s apostles were not Christian psychologists or entertainers. They were holy men of old moved by the Spirit of God. When they built churches, they were apostolic churches that equipped the saints for the work of ministry. Never did they build defective pastoral-only models of ministry that make people comfortable in their sin, apathy and lukewarm conditions like we have today. They preached with the convicting power of the Holy Ghost that challenged people to come out of darkness, pick up their cross daily and follow Christ. When they preached the Kingdom of God the people understood it was not a spiritual thing only but required the establishment of change in their lives, the establishment of Kingdom culture and full commitment of Kingdom citizenship.
GOD AND COUNTRY
It is apparent that “God and Country” are ingrained within the American Christian community that supports the actions of the state as if the state is the very hand of Jehovah. This is idolatry. Leviathan is not your servant and certainly not your protector-provider. Scripture declares, “I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods (protectors—providers) before me” (Exodus 20:2-3). Current Christian protests are more about making the state better so to be more efficient in meeting our needs rather than “restoring all things” and advancing the Kingdom of God including biblical Christian culture. Beware leviathan. “While they promise you liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage” (2 Peter 2:19). Notice Peter uses the word “whom” not what. True liberty comes from Jehovah alone, not the state.
Scripture is clear regarding the kingdoms of this world becoming the kingdoms of our God. “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 11:15). “Become” is the Greek word ginomai meaning “made to become.”
COME OUT OF BABYLON
The Holy Ghost is signifying that the sons of God need to come out of the entanglements of Babylon and come into their sonship. We could call it out of Egypt, out of Babylon, or out of the leviathan state.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
The Apostle Paul is writing to people that are already saved. This is one reason the earth is still waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, they have not yet separated themselves from the entanglements of all things leviathan. It’s one thing to go into the world preaching, teaching, and providing Christian salt and light it’s another to embrace, build and advance leviathan’s anti-Christ culture and worldview.
Satan’s kingdom is falling apart. Leviathan will fall. The sons of God need to get out of the way. As already mentioned Jesus said, “I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.” The leviathan state is opposed to Christ. The sons of God cannot fix the opposition. Pharaoh tried to resist God. He said, “Who is the Lord that I should obey his voice?” Moses did not try to fix reprobate Egypt. The day is coming when the serpent will be punished. The shaking has already begun. Judgment will follow. “In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea” (Isaiah 27:1).
FREEDOM IS ON THE WAY
Freedom is on the way. With the full cooperation of the sons of God the Kingdom of God will prevail over the leviathan state.” Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:7). Christ will defeat leviathan! He is King of kings and Ruler of rulers. All we need to do is get out of the way, stop participating in Babylon’s kingdom of systematic bondage and get into agreement with the Head of the Church.
The Holy Ghost told me liberty was on the way. Liberty is individual freedom to choose right from wrong and to live a lifestyle of faith in God. Liberty requires sacrifice. Liberty is painful and takes courage. Liberty is in the DNA of the anointing breaking the yoke and removing the burden. Liberty will not happen until the people of God repent, turn from their wicked ways, stop looking to other gods such as the leviathan state as protector -provider and come out of the Babylonian’ malefic system of control, debt and imperium, then God will hear from heaven, deliver His people, and heal their land. Are we there yet? No. But those that have an ear are beginning to hear. The gathering of the remnant has already begun.
The Holy Ghost said, “You can’t come out of what you cannot see.” I pray you can see a bit clearer now. Please ponder these things in your heart. There are some things that only the apostles, prophets and intercessors can deliver to the Body of Christ. So in conclusion, let it be known that leviathan will fall. Get out of the way and get busy about the Father’s business of advancing the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
Christ came to set the captives free. Understanding liberty will expose the evil of leviathan. In the next essay we learn that all liberty finds its roots in Jehovah. Experience Christ’s liberty and experience victory.
