Unlocking the Spiritual Laws of the Kingdom

God has promised us an abundance of blessings if we are willing to unlock the power of the spiritual laws of His kingdom. With faith, action, and a willingness to study His Word, we can experience the fullness of God's love and promises.

To understand the spiritual laws of the kingdom of God, let's begin with Bible promises and Bible principles. Some say the Bible has over seven thousand promises, but just because there are thousands of promises doesn't mean you are benefiting from them. The Bible, for example, says that if you draw near to God, he will draw near to you (James 4:8). This is the classic action-reaction maxim. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.

Now let's understand something more about Bible promises. A Bible promise offers you grounds for expectation. In other words, a Bible promise gives you hope that what's promised belongs to you. However, just because the Bible offers a promise doesn't mean that you will ever experience that promise. Still with me? The great news is discovering that Bible promises, when acted upon, produce predetermined results. Understand? To unlock the promise you have to act on the promise. 

Lets review with this example. The Bible says, "Give, and it shall be given," Luke 6:38. Notice that the scripture reveals a promise and a reward for acting on the promise. Notice, again, there is a promise but only if you do what the scripture tells you to do. In this case it's give. Again, we have a biblical promise offering you an expectation of a benefit. The action, therefore, is your response to the promise, which offers a predetermined result.

We do not live in a world of chance, chaos, and confusion. We live in a world of spiritual laws. Some call these the laws of the universe. Christians don't use that terminology. They are more appropriately called the laws of the kingdom of God. What I want you to understand is these laws of the kingdom are the benefits of obedience when acting on biblical promises.

The Kingdom of God's laws are spiritual laws that are set in motion in the unseen spirit world and manifest in the visible natural world.That's learned in Hebrews, which declares that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3). Again, the laws of God's kingdom are set in motion in the spirit world, which we can't see, and they show up in the physical world, which we can see. 

When Bible promises are acted on, they direct the course of your life with predetermined outcomes. There are numerous advantages to being Christ's disciple. Scripture declares, "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's" (Psalms 103:2-5).

It has taken me some time in prayer and study to pull some of these spiritual laws out of scripture. My prayer is for you to discover them in just a few minutes. As you read this essay, look at the spiritual principles as the keys that unlock the blessings within the kingdom of God because they will empower you to be the spirit-led son that God created you to be.

In conclusion, the Bible offers numerous promises and principles that can be implemented to achieve a desired outcome in your life. These laws of the kingdom of God are spiritual laws that exist in the unseen spiritual realm and become evident in the natural world after you act on the biblical promises. When acknowledged and properly put into practice, these spiritual laws determine the course of your life and create many opportunities to receive God's bountiful blessings.
