At the heart of manhood is the concept of providing and protecting. Men are expected to be responsible for their families and to provide for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This is emphasized in Proverbs 20:7, which says, "The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him." This verse shows us that fathers have an important role in their children’s wellbeing and that providing for them is an essential part of being a man.
